Student Registration Process<\/a>:<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>We aim to place students with the right host,\u00a0 typically within 1-4 weeks after receiving full payment. Apply on time and respond to our communication to speed things up. We’re here to help!<\/div>\n

\u2002What to Expect from Homestay<\/a><\/b>\u00a0– a short introduction video about why people choose the homestay experience.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0Host Screening & Review<\/a><\/b>\u00a0is a comprehensive, safety-focused process that includes reference checks, criminal record checks, and in-person interviews.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Invoice information:\u00a0<\/b>Upon receipt of a student application, we will create an invoice and send it to you for immediate payment. After a non-refundable payment of $500 is received\u00a0(the amount is refunded in case the visa application is rejected)<\/i>, our team will start the host selection process. \u00a0We will also process the custodianship documents if requested\/required. \u00a0As soon as we receive the\u00a0full amount of the invoice, we will complete the matching process and share the host’s profile.\u00a0 This process can take 1 to 4 weeks. \u00a0Complete your payment early and receive priority!<\/div>\n

Payment can be made by either the\u00a0EP\u00a0or the student directly to CHN\u00a0based on our agreement.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
For students paying\u00a0from OUTSIDE OF CANADA:<\/u><\/i><\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Payment by Flywire (instructions will be listed on the invoice). Make your payments safely and easily, from any country and any bank, typically in your home currency. You will be able to track the progress of your payment through the payment process with a dashboard and email\/SMS notifications.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Application<\/b>:\u00a0 Student applications are submitted online.\u00a0\u00a0We provide you with a\u00a0landing page on your website for your students to apply directly to\u00a0the homestay.\u00a0Alternatively, EP shares applications with us for your students, and we invoice you directly.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0Group Booking Process:\u00a0<\/b>At CHN, we consider a group to be more than 10 students arriving and departing at the same time. We request that the Group Booking Form<\/a>\u00a0be completed and submitted to\u00a0help@canadahomestaynetwork.ca<\/a>\u00a0at least\u00a016-20 weeks in advance<\/b> of the group arrival. Our team will provide a quote for each group. Once the quote has been accepted, a link will be generated for application forms to be submitted through the link and not through the agent portal.<\/div>\n

Our team can provide first-language support to the student while communicating with their Relationship Manager in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Japanese.
