Student Registration Process: We aim to place students with the right host,  typically within 1-4 weeks after receiving full payment. Apply on time and respond to our communication to speed things up. We’re here to help!

 Host Screening & Review is a comprehensive, safety-focused process that includes reference checks, criminal record checks, and in-person interviews.
Invoice information: Upon receipt of a student application, we will create an invoice and send it to you for immediate payment. After a non-refundable payment of $500 is received (the amount is refunded in case the visa application is rejected), our team will start the host selection process.  We will also process the custodianship documents if requested/required.  As soon as we receive the full amount of the invoice, we will complete the matching process and share the host’s profile.  This process can take 1 to 4 weeks.  Complete your payment early and receive priority!
Payment can be made by either the EP or the student directly to CHN based on our agreement.
For students paying from OUTSIDE OF CANADA:
Payment by Flywire (instructions will be listed on the invoice). Make your payments safely and easily, from any country and any bank, typically in your home currency. You will be able to track the progress of your payment through the payment process with a dashboard and email/SMS notifications.
Application:  Student applications are submitted online.  We provide you with a landing page on your website for your students to apply directly to the homestay. Alternatively, EP shares applications with us for your students, and we invoice you directly.
 Group Booking Process: At CHN, we consider a group to be more than 10 students arriving and departing at the same time. We request that the Group Booking Form be completed and submitted to help@canadahomestaynetwork.ca at least 16-20 weeks in advance of the group arrival. Our team will provide a quote for each group. Once the quote has been accepted, a link will be generated for application forms to be submitted through the link and not through the agent portal.
Our team can provide first-language support to the student while communicating with their Relationship Manager in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Japanese. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us!  Our Care and Support Team can be reached at help@canadahomestaynetwork.ca .
Mental Health Support: Free confidential service from licensed counselors in multiple languages is available to support students struggling with mental health concerns while in Homestay.
Student Participation Agreement and Refund Policy:
Adult students (18+) must download and sign our Adult Student Participation Agreement.
Minor students (under 18) and their parents/guardians must download and sign the  Student Participation Agreement – Click here to download.
